Power of the Purse Luncheon
Join us, Thurs, Sept 17, at the Merrimon-Wynne House to enjoy a seated lunch, amazing program sharing our mission, and fabulous purse auction.
Power of the Purse is a fundraiser for the Women’s Center of Wake County, focusing on the empowerment of women. The Women’s Center serves single women experiencing homelessness through Day Shelter, Recuperative Respite, and Housing Support Services. By purchasing a ticket to Power of the Purse you are directly supporting the mission of the Women’s Center, improving the lives of women experiencing homelessness in Wake County.

Galentine’s Celebration
Join us for a heartfelt celebration of friendship, empowerment, and compassion, hosted by the Women’s Center of Wake County! Galentine’s Day, traditionally celebrated on February 13, is a global holiday that honors the strength and connection between women.
This event is more than a celebration—it’s a chance to uplift one another and extend support to women experiencing homelessness in our community.
By attending, you are not just honoring the women in your life – you’re joining a movement to empower women who need it most.
Proceeds from this event will support the Women’s Center of Wake County, which provides critical resources and services to women experiencing homelessness. Together, we can help ensure every woman has the opportunity to thrive and build a brighter future.
